1. What are the delivery rates?

2. What payment methods are accepted for internet orders?

We accept all major credit and debit cards such as Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard, AMEX, and UK Maestro.

If, however you chose to place an order for any of the items you see online by phone, we do accept cheques with a cheque guarantee card, although goods will not be sent out until the cheque has cleared and we have received funds into our bank account, which may result in a longer wait for your goods.

The same payment conditions apply to NHS, private and veterinary prescriptions.

Cash, banker’s drafts and Western Union are NOT accepted.

3. How can I check the status of my order?

 Once we have received an order from you, Landys Chemist will send you a confirmation email of receipt. To view the status of your order, you can log in to ‘My Account’, and enter your email and password that applies to your account. Once logged in ‘My Dashboard’ will automatically appear on the screen and all recent orders can be viewed via this page.

4. At what stage is payment taken for my order?

Your credit card/debit card will be charged after you have completed the checkout process. If the product you order is out of stock we will contact you to let you know when the item will be available or to offer a full refund.

5. Do you issue prescription only medicines via the online store?

 We can only issue prescription only medicines against a valid UK prescription (NHS or private). To check whether we have items in stock you may email us on prescriptions@landyschemist.com or phone us on 0208 455 5464. Once we have received your prescription and payment (where applicable for the items and/or for postage) we will post the medicines to you using royal mail recorded delivery.

6. Can I speak to a pharmacist for advice before purchasing medicines on your website?

 We have a pharmacist available to speak to on the phone on 0208 455 5464 seven days a week between the hours of Monday – Friday 9am-7pm, Saturday 9.30am-6pm and Sunday 10am-2pm, or you can send an email to info@landyschemist.com  anytime.

7. How do I check if an item is in stock before I place my order?

 The majority of items on our website are in stock in large quantities at all times, however if you would like further confirmation an email can be sent to info@landyschemist.com or you can phone us on 0208 455 5464.

8. Do you provide any pharmaceutical services?

 We do have a pharmacy in which we can provide services such as blood pressure monitoring, blood glucose testing, Lipotrim weight loss program, smoking cessation, medicine use reviews, repeat dispensing, dispensing of veterinary prescriptions and dispensing of private and NHS prescriptions. We do also offer a delivery service to elderly or housebound patients who cannot get out to pick up their prescriptions.

 We offer a collection/delivery service for prescriptions with Temple Fortune Health Centre (23 Temple Fortune Lane, London, NW11 7TE)

Heathfielde Medical Centre (8 Lyttelton Road, Hampstead Garden Suburb, London, N2 0EQ) and Mountfield Medical Centre (55 Mountfield Road, Finchley, N3 3NR) where we can order you prescriptions for you, and collect them on your behalf once they have been prepared by the doctor. To order you prescriptions email us at prescriptions@landyschemist.com or phone us on 0208 455 5464. This process normally takes three working days from the time of ordering the medicines and the patient can come into the pharmacy to pick up the prescription items after this time. Signed consent is required from the patient to provide this service; we keep the consent forms in store.

In addition we if you are registered with The Practice at 188 (188 Golders Green Road, Golders Green, London, NW11 9AY) , or Dr Adler &Partners surgeries (682 Finchley Road, Golders Green, London, NW11 7NP)  you may ask them to post the prescriptions to our shop and we can assemble them for you to collect once we have received them.

 9. I have changed my mind about my order and would like to cancel it, how can I do this?

10.  Is it safe to use my credit card on your website?

All payments from this website are processed securely using the Sage Pay Payment Gateway Provider. All transaction information passed between this site and Sage Pay’s systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely assured that nothing you pass to Sage Pay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

11.  What is the complaints procedure?

We do our very best to offer great customer service, however things can sometimes go wrong. If you are not happy with the service you have received, please contact us by phone, email or post and we will endeavor to deal with your complaint as best as possible. Our details are as follows:

12.  Is Landys Chemist a legitimate pharmacy business?

Landys Chemist is a legitimate pharmacy business. We are LEMONGOLD LIMITED (Trading as LANDYS CHEMIST), an English registered company (number 1684749, VAT number 370 982 528).

We are regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council and are members of the National Pharmacy Association. We conduct our business from registered pharmacy premises and are owned by a UK registered pharmacist.
