Maalox is an antacid containing aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide to neutralize or reduce stomach acid. Maalox helps relieve symptoms of excessive stomach acidity in patients with indigestion, heartburn, gastroesophageal reflux disease, or stomach or duodenal ulcers.
