English grown, organic, fresh, cold pressed Flaxseed oil

Organic Flaxseed oil, also known as Linseed Oil, Flax oil is the richest, most natural source of Omega 3 essential fatty acids (Alpha-Linolenic acid or ALA).

“Essential” means it is a nutrient essential for human health and cannot be made by the body so must be consumed in the diet like vitamins and minerals. Our bodies need Alpha Linoleic acid and uses it as a component of every cell in the body. It is particularly high in the brain, eyes and reproductive organs. Omega’s 3’s benefit to healthier brains, hearts and our digestive systems. Organic Flaxseed oil is also the ideal plant based source of omega 3’s for those who prefer a vegan or vegetarian option. Fushi’s Flaxseed oil is organic, which means it has been grown without harmful chemicals, is fresh, un purified and has come from a top quality seed.

Fushi’s cold pressed organic Flaxseed also has a high amount of B vitamins, fibre, magnesium, potassium, iron and zinc. Our locally grown organic Linseed oil contains high levels of dietary soluble fibre which has been shown to reduce blood cholesterol levels, potentially leading to a lower risk of heart disease. Organic Flaxseed oil is also said to possess anti-inflammatory and healing actions, and is used for eczema as well as other skin problems. Due to the high inflammatory index of organic Linseed oil, it can help minimise irritation, redness and inflammation of any sort. Skin rashes diminish with topical application. Organic Flaxseed oil moisturises your skin and hydrates it from within.

Fushi’s UK grown Flaxseed oil is freshly made in small batches from premium English Flaxseed only. We have chosen an English grown source of Flaxseed due to understanding the importance of preserving the potency of our organic Flaxseed oil. This is not just for its effectiveness, but also for the taste. Fushi’s organic Flaxseed oil has a smooth, mellow, creamy, nutty flavour which makes the oil a joy to consume. The seeds are freshly cold pressed at a temperature of 36C/87 for maximum freshness and potency, and is packed under nitrogen, which means the oil is kept at the right temperature and prevents the flax oil from becoming rancid. Flaxseed does not respond well to being mass produced at high temperatures. Once the bottles are pressed the oil is stored under refrigeration prior to despatch which helps to preserve the freshness and potency of the cold pressed Flax oil.
