Prada Infusion D'Iris Eau de Parfum 200ml
Top Notes: Mandarin, Orange Blossom, Neroli
Heart Notes: Iris
Base Notes: Woods, Incense
As elusive and unique as the precious ingredient from which it takes its name, Infusion d’Iris is inspired by a search for balance and harmony in a chaotic and contradictory world. It is not defined by the age of a woman or by her sexual attitude. Instead, it evokes an ultra-feminine experience set within a world of luxury and possibility – the quintessential Prada universe. The name of this fragrance was inspired by the old method of producing iris extract which took six months of soaking until the sweetly fresh iris notes were extracted.
Infusion d’Iris is a perfume that resists feminine stereotypes. The fragrance walks a tonal tightrope between freshness and endurance. This modern and elegant fragrance is a sensual interpretation of Iris: fresh and light, like a tender veil. Precious, elusive and perfectly balanced, reminiscent of the clean scent of crisp linen sheets and naked skin. Opening with notes of mandarin, galbanum, orange and orange blossom which leads to the heart composed of iris, cedar and vetiver.

This is one of the best iris fragrances out there even if not the best.
The opening is fresh... but an unusual kind of. It's incomparable green and there's a unique iris accord in this one along with some soapyness. The Iris smells powdery and it's so comforting and calming somehow. It's a relaxing scent and so pleasant to inhale it.
In the heart it becomes noticeably woodier but still fresh and clean - almost detergenty smelling (in a luxurious way). It's sophisticated on the one side and so versatile on the other.
The dry down is never drifting towards sweet territories - it stays pretty sober and grownup.
The longevity is moderate if you spray a generous amount of perfume. Feel free to overspray this because otherwise it won't last.
The nose behind Infusion d'Iris is Daniela Roche-Andrier and she said that this is probably her favorite composition of all time.
