I tried this product and it did help a little bit with my BPH symptoms. But it did not produce the desired effect. The label says to take 4 caps for 6
... 40mg saw palmetto, 300mg stinging nettle extract, 100mg african pygeum and others. I was a bit hesitant to take 4 caps so I started out with taking 2 caps per day. I did notice some improvement. After a week, I started taking 4 caps per day. There was no noticeable change. I was not getting up at night before I started taking it, so that was not an issue. I did have issues with emptying my bladder especially in the mornings. That did improve a little but not enough in my opinion. Other issues were frequent and urgent trips to the bathroom. There was a slight improvement but again, not enough for me to keep buying this product.

... t night. I have been taking this product for over 6 months now. I used to take it twice a day. After two months or so I made it once a day in the morning and at night I take a single capsule of Dr Christopher's Kidney Formula - 475 mg. The two in tandem seem very effective. I am able to sleep better at night and though I do need to get up once or twice that is far better than having to visit the bathroom every two hours or more as I used to. The urologist I had visited had given me some other medicine which worked well but increased my sugar levels alarmingly. This medicine does not affect my sugar levels adversely. Hope it works well for you too.

OK, I have been using this product for quite awhile now and although I don't feel like a new man like I was back in my 20s, it does give a measur
... e of relief. The urine stream is more pronounced and if I'm careful about limiting night time liquids, I don't have to go to bathroom as much - maybe only once during the night if I'm lucky. You'll notice the full four tablet daily serving gives 640 mg of Saw Palmetto vs the usual 320 mg. I "think" the doubling amount of Saw Palmetto may be more beneficial to me. What I'm not so sure about this and many other prostate support formulas is that the other ingredients besides the tried and true Saw Palmetto are really beneficial. I was out of this product for awhile and just took cheaper straight Saw Palmetto (The NOW brand) and I didn't really notice a drop off of the beneficial support. But I do recommend this product. I tried Flowmaxx for a couple of days and felt dizzy and nauseous so glad this product can help me somewhat at least to a degree that can keep me off the prescription meds.

My verdict, after using for 30 days: Doctor's Best seems to be having an effect. I have been sleeping through the night without having to urinate
... .I guess that counts as a success. I noticed improvement after about 2 weeks. Bear in mind: Prior to taking this supplement I typically awoke maybe 3 or 4 nights/week to urinate. If I awoke, it typically was only once during the night. Occasionally, twice. My situation was not as bad as some men who must urinate multiple times during every night. So, at least for my relatively mild condition, Doctor's Best seems to have eliminated the night-time problem. I still urinate more frequently during the day than I would like. I ordered another 30 day supply, to confirm my verdict. The capsule size is similar to any supplement. I have no problems swallowing these or any other capsules.
