SPF 30 Sunscreen FAQs
Is SPF 30 good enough?
SPF 30 is a good-enough strength sunscreen to offer adequate protection from the sun's rays. Having factor 30 protection is very important if you want to protect your skin from sunburn, premature ageing and skin cancer. SPF 30 sunscreens protect us from UVB and UVA rays, which can both contribute to skin cancer. Guard your skin and get peace of mind with our soothing range.
Can you burn with factor 30 on?
Factor 30 sunscreen means it will take you, roughly, 30 times longer to burn in the sun than wearing no protection. You can still burn with factor 30 if you don't reapply often enough, you sweat it off or wash it off in water, or don't apply it evenly.
Does SPF over 30 do anything?
Yes, the higher the SPF, the stronger the protection from UVB rays. However, there are no sunscreens that block out all of the sun's damaging rays, including SPF 50 sunscreen or more.
