Despite being a high-quality product, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with curly or dry hair. It dries out my curly hair way too much, and othe
...r users who have tried it say that even though the product is supposed to be for "dry hair," it actually dries out their hair. This product should work well for you if your hair isn't dry or curly.

I loved the Faith in Nature Jojoba range years ago and was excited to try it again. It's changed quite a bit since then and, while I quite liked
...the strong herby smell, it didn't do my hair any good and dried it out unfortunately.

I've bought this previously and really liked it, however, the formula has changed. It doesn't quite smell the same and as I have fine hair a
...nd not lots of it & prone to fizz, it leaves my hair a bit greasy. I think if you had thick hair it would be okay though.

This is the second natural shampoo I've tried and it's early days, hence the 4 stars....but so far so good.
I have naturally curly hair, med
...ium curls not tight, but more than wavey and its fairly corse. I have also suffered with a flakey scalp for as long as i can remember......NOT ANY MORE!!
Even though I've had to use head &shoulders for most of my life, it never really sorted the problem, just helped it a bit. I was finding that my hair would get a horrid waxy sticky build up near the roots from the shampoo every so often and also my scalp would get sore in places....but changing to regular shampoo just meant flakey scalp again!
So i decided to try natural shampoo and this one is reasonably priced compared to some but i think its great.
My hair looks healthy and my flakey scalp has gone!
The shampoo is runny, but it lathers really well and smells lovely and citrusy. Washes out easily. As with other natural shampoos it leaves my hair feeling a little catchy and dry right after, i guess that's just because its not leaving any gunk on your hair but the conditioner sorts that right out so no probs there.
Best one I've tried so far. I tried Burts Bees mango shampoo and conditioner but it made my hair really frizzy ...this one doesn't.....so far I'm loving it.

While I love the organic ingredients and no damaging chemicals, the smell is questionable.
It's not a nice smell and stays quite strong in the ha
...ir. I had to apply my hair oil the next morning to try and dilute the smell.
While my hair felt quite nice the smell is off putting so won't be buy this scent again.

Was looking for a natural alternative for dry hair. However this shampoo is very drying and makes my hair feel extremely dry and dehydrated.

This leaves my hair very squeeky clean. Smells lovely. Lathers well too! Good price.
Given it a 3 star as i find it's a little too drying on my
...thick, coarse hair. I only wash my hair once weekly. Perfect though if i've been using hair spray that week. Very clarifying.

I have normal-combination hair. A shampoo with no harsh chemicals. I'm not brave enough to try the 'no-poo' method. This is as chemical
... free as i can get. First 2 weeks my hair felt horrible, coarse and dry. But i carried on using it. After the intial 2 weeks my hair went back to its normal condition. After 6-8months i get NO split ends (could be due to more frequent trims), my hair is silky and soft & i stopped using conditioner.. its in excellent condition! Never going back to commerical shampoo. If you buy this give it a chance before forming an opinion. For me, this particular shampoo is perfect. I have tried the lavender and rosemary, its okay but not as good as the jojoba. However, when i brought the pomegranate shampoo my hair started falling out.. immediately stopped using it. I guess it depends on the individual, but no more experimenting. The jojoba is my holy grail!!!

(I'm doing conditioner only washing method and use shampoo to strip my hair of residue once every three months or so. It's hard to find a sh
...ampoo to remove all and not dry out the hair).
This shampoo felt very runny coming out of the bottle, but it's actually very concentrated, a little goes a long way and quickly makes a lot of lather.
Working it through my hair it felt dry, lacking slip, and I expected nothing good out of it.
But it rinsed out very easily (I love that!) and left my hair very clean, very shiny, full of softness and volume.
NOTE: I don't know how this would work with more frequent use and also it may be good to know I always cover my lengths thoroughly in oil before any shampooing. This one works with oiling, others will still dry out the hair or simply fail at getting the oil out. Shampoo is very different for every user, depending both on hair and regimen.

Great shampoo's, all natural ingredients, been using their products for a while. I use it every other day I wash my hair and my hairs going stron
For the price this is a very good natural shampoo - but it has a slippery, gel-like consistency which might not be to everyone's taste and it req
...uires a lot of rinsing out. I find it is best mixed with another natural shampoo (I mix it with Avalon Rosemary shampoo which can be quite drying on its own) and even then used very sparingly - mixed in the hand with lots of water then applied, rinsed then repeated, this time with twice as much shampoo. You should only need a very light conditioner afterwards if your hair is anything like mine (fine, oily roots, dry ends). Used on its own, it makes the hair shiny and soft but being natural, can leave a slight residue..

Fairly large bottle of shampoo at a good price. Smells incredible and lathers up well too. Leaves my hair and beard smelling and feeling great. I want
...ed this primarily for my beard, and particularly a shampoo with no SLS.
Although this is very good shampoo, I knocked off one star because it very liquidy. When you put it into your hands, it almost completely runs off unless your hand appropriately, so had it been slightly more viscous and thick, this would have easily been a 5 star item. I hope this is something Fair in Nature address because I highly recommend this shampoo.

Years ago I asked a dermatologist about falling hair and dry scaly patches on my scalp and he said it is as simple as using a shampoo without SLS'
...;s and you will see an improvement in weeks or less. SLS stands for sodium laurel sulphate or laureth sulphate, the same thing. We used to use it in industrial quantities to strip grease from the floor of our garage workshop and once you go looking there it is in almost every shampoo and cleansing agent in the house, even in toothpaste. Dreadful stuff. Was the dermatologist right? Well, the hair kept on falling out, but then again I am a 64 year old man, but the dry patches, and red scaly marks all disappeared within a month and have never come back. By the way, Faith in Nature makes a really good shampoo and conditioner.

I love the design and it smells good, but it's too watery. I've had better experience with other brands, which were a bit more oily - made m

Lovely shampoo.
Only need a small amount to have a good hair wash. It doesnt lather up an intense amount like most but thats because it had less chemi
...cals in it. Rinse out and after drying my hair it feels squeaky clean, no feeling of built up residue or anything. ive since brought the conditioner to go with which finishes off fresh soft and clean hair.
