Wasn't sure about washing my locs with a herby shampoo but it smells good on the hair. It doesn't take too long to rinse out. Highly recomme
Purchased as I wanted a natural shampoo without any bad additives in it as I have lost the majority of my hair. I now wear a wig & was advised to
...use a natural shampoo on my hair & on my wig. The shampoo is excellent value for money as you do not need to use a lot, lathers really well & smells lovely & fresh. I normally buy expensive professional shampoo,& conditioners but will not be returning to them. My daughter is a hairdresser & she now uses it. Also used it on the dog as it makes him smell lovely & his coat looks very healthy & shiny.

I had to find a shampoo that was free from sulphate as I developed an allergy which causes my skin to react badly. This shampoo is perfect as it'
...s free from sulphates but also cleans my hair really well. The shampoo smells amazing when washing but the scent doesn't last very long. My hair feels nourished and clean after washing and I'm pleased that it's made from natural ingredients. It's quite pricey but I feel it is worth it for the quality of product.

I decided to try these as main stream shampoos were not helping my thinning hair which was very greasy. I used to wash my hair everyday as I would hav
...e to as the grease build up would make it look like I hadn't washed my hair in a week. I even tried not washing my hair as I could have been washing the goodness away but that didn't work either. After trying shampoo bars and hair oiling, I landed on Faith in Nature as a last resort what have I got to lose attitude!
I am so pleased I did since using it my hair has changed completely, I started off with the Lemon and Tea Tree for a couple of bottles which restored my scalp to a healthy stage and I now use Rosemary although this one is quite a thin liquid. I don't need to wash my hair everyday anymore I can go two to three days now without washing. It has also stopped the horrible itch that came with the grease and my thin hair is looking so much more healthier not to mention it is starting to grow again. Persistence is key with this shampoo as it took a good couple of months to really see a difference I expect it's because of the product build up from all the usual shampoos that coat the hair rather than cleansing it. I am so pleased with this shampoo and I now use the coconut conditioner to go with it which I use once a week but it is so gentle you can even lightly apply it to your roots unlike mainstream conditioners. Buy this shampoo for your problem hair too, you won't regret it.

Very light scent. I was worried that with it being rosemary, it might be a little overpowering but the balance is just right. A little bit watery, but
... controllable. Just be aware. Left my hair squeaky clean. No nasty chemicals either, so good for your hair AND the environment. Love it.
EDIT: Last couple of bottles that I have purchased have been of a much thicker consistency, roughly the same as most other brands. Much more preferable and great value too.
UPDATE: I also purchased the grapefruit as my hair has recently got quite greasy (oh the joys of menopause!!). I love the smell, it's not at all watery and you don't need much. After a few weeks of use, I have to say that I'm really impressed. I can leave longer intervals between hair washes as this really seems to keep the grease at bay for more time. Not only that (and I'm sure it's not my imagination), but it seems to make the hair strand plumper so that my hair appears thicker, healthier and bouncier. I'm a real fan of this shampoo and totally recommend for greasy hair. I hope this has been helpful to you

As described. Very good quality.
Great value for money. Nice to have a product in today's world which has lots of natural ingredients and does the job. Great smell and softness a
I've been looking around for some more natural hair products for a while, having become concerned at all the nasty chemicals in other shampoos. I
... bought some of this with some trepidation as it's more expensive than the cheapest-of-the-cheap stuff I usually buy in large quantities, and because there were mixed reviews. The shampoo does contain one sulphate in the ingredients list, but after some research, it appears to be a mild one, and I decided it'll be okay since my goal is to avoid parabens and SLES.
For the record, my hair is black, relatively thick and straight, and does get a bit greasy after a few days without being washed.
The verdict? I'm very pleased with this product. It lathers up quite nicely given the lack of weird chemicals and seems to do a good job in cleaning my hair. The smell is pleasant - something I enjoy having a whiff of - but I do understand the other reviewer's comment about overtones of polish. Rosemary is indeed a strange ingredient for shampoo. But it does work.
Combined with the Faith in Nature Rosemary conditioner, this is an excellent product that I intend to buy again next time.
Remember that if you're switching from a chemical-laden shampoo to something more natural, you can expect your hair to go through a greasy transitioning stage as it will be used to overproducing oil in response to being stripped by the harsh chemicals.

Purchase to help with itchy scalp. Gorgeous smell, leaves me hair feeling squeaky clean, I have greasy hair and have spent years trying to find a ligh
...tweight shampoo that cleans deeply and doesn't leave a sticky residue and I have found my perfect match! In my 3rd bottle now, wouldn't be without it. Oh and it really does help with hair growth too which is an added bonus!! Would highly recommend!
Edit: just received a new bottle and the formula has changed, it now just smells like nit treatment. Doesn't smell like rosemary anymore, just the overpowering smell of menthol. Shame really, I loved using this!

Great shampoo, works well, but I don't love the smell. I thought it would smell more 'cosmetic' but it just smells a bit industrial

I swapped to this because F in N has stopped doing their Lemon and Tea Tree shampoo which I successfully migrated to from a Neutrogena product I had u
...sed for decades, unable to use other shampoos due to high scalp sensitivity. Unfortunately my scalp reacted poorly to this shampoo and have developed eczema. I did also purchase the F in N Tea Tree (on its own) but am yet to try and frankly am nervous. It takes years sometimes to find products that work with sensitive scalps so I am disappointed.

I've got thin but quite healthy and a bit oily hair and I've got a lot of them on my head. After the first wash my hair felt really soft and
... very light but not frizzy, even after blowdrying. Before I'd been using different shampoos from the supermarkets like tresemme for frizzy hair. it helped with the frizziness but my skull felt itchy and when I found out about SLS, I thought it's time to switch to more natural shampoos. I've got long hair and to be fair I din't have to use much of the shampoo. I like the fact it's more watery cause it rinses off easier and faster and afterwards my hair are squiky clean. I really like the quite strong herbal scent but once you rinse it off, it's not strong anymore, so that's good. I honestly think it's worth a try. cause rosemary is a really beneficial herb for hair. I didn't use conditioner. I was worried it would be difficult to brush my hair afterwards but I use only few drops of argan oil and it was super easy to untangle them. I used aloe vera shampoo in the past once, organic but I had problem with detangling my hair. It was a real pain. But with this one, I had no such problem (plus the oil help, and two drops don't make your hair oily, don't worry). on top of that it's reasonably priced, I feel. Can't comment yet on whether it makes your hair stronger cause one wash is not enough to tell, but hair are definitely shiny. I think I'll never go back to those harsh high street shampoos. Oh, one more thing - it's made in England. Though I'm European myself living in the UK, I believe in supporting local produce.

I was recommended to use this shampoo. Firstly I found it quite runny, so you have to be careful as you'll lose it through your hands. Secondly,
...initially it worked well and made my hair feel great. However, after using it for a couple of weeks I found my scalp became itchy and flakey. I've since stopped using it and my scalp has returned to normal.

I don't like how watery it is, but I love how big the bottle is and how well it works on my hair. I can't smell a smell, it isn't stron
...g at all but it works at getting any excess oil out, a little goes a long way but it comes out of the bottle so quick, the bottle is easy to squeeze which I like too. it didn't burn my scalp or make it itch or be irritated which is amazing for me
