Is COQ10 the same as Q10?
Yes! There's a reason why COQ10 took the skincare world by storm. COQ10 provides the cells in your skin with the critical energy needed to be able to repair and regenerate. Using this energy, your skin can repair and regenerate at a faster rate. COQ10 also supports the production of collagen, another critical skin nutrient. As it is a powerful anti-oxidant, co-enzyme 10 helps to defend your skin from the adverse effects of sun exposure that are caused by free radicals.
What is CoQ10 good for?
CoQ10 plays a hugely important role in allowing our cells to create energy. As such, it is found in tissues with high energy requirements such as the heart and skeletal muscles. It is an anti-oxidant made naturally in the body and also found in certain foods.
Who needs to take CoQ10?
As tissue levels of Coenzyme Q10 decline as we age, more significantly over the age of 35, supplementation from the age of 30 should help maintain optimum levels. Lower levels of CoQ10 can be associated with poor health conditions such as heart disease.
Does LLQ1 contain contain ubiquinone or ubiquinol?
We use the ubiquinone form. One of the reported benefits of using Ubiquinol over Ubiquinone is that it is better absorbed, particularly as we get older. But for lipolife, absorption of CoQ10 in the ubiquinone form is not an issue. Ubiquinone converts to and from Ubiquinol many times per second inside the mitochondria.
Directions for use:
Tastes best chilled. Shake before use, take 5ml per day or as professionally directed.
