I first became aware of cordyceps when we were in Thailand where they are sold in many shops. It is believed in Chinese medicine that they provide ene
...rgy, reduce fatigue and boost libido and sex drive. I have found this product to be an excellent tonic. They have indeed boosted my energy and I am not as tired. I have found little effect on libido, but it can take time for the body to get the full effects of this formula. I like this tonic and I am happy to recommend them.

My main interest in this product is it being organic and vegan, for this, it is very reasonable.
I will not go through the reasons why one should tak
...e cordyceps because if you are looking at this review you already know what it is for so I will just focus on my experience in using this product.
I have been taking this for a while now and I have not experienced any unwanted side effects and still got the effect I wanted.
Easy to swallow and no weird or funny aftertaste when you place the supplement in your mouth.
Well packaged and secure.

So often with these reviews I start by saying the same thing, the caps are too big and a challenge to swallow. Is there no way round this? I wanted to
... try cordysaps as they have purported benefits for women with hormonal balancing. Too early to speak to benefits but whether I can keep up with them is something else given the size and the challenge to my poor oesophagus. I'm thinking of going down the powder route for this product. On the plus size you can open and decant these into a smoothie. Tentatively recommend.

This is a high quality fermented Organic Cordyceps.
It's interesting as this is using a kefir-kombucha fermentation process to increase the biov
...ailability of the mushrooms.
Cordyceps is really useful to improve exercise benefits and I have found this quite useful to help me with my workouts and also in general to improve my energy.
There are no other added fillers or ingredients and it uses organic and high quality ingredients. No side effects for me when using this and the fermented mushroom concept looks very promising. Looks like a very well formulated and high quality supplement.

I was born and raised in a European country that has a long tradition of pickling and fermenting almost everything, from fruits to cabbage and caulifl
...ower. Nevertheless, it is an intricate process, one that I have never come across in any other country. Fermentation supports immunity and the gut to the highest degree.
Cordyceps sinensis (CS), a widely used traditional Chinese medicine, is a composite consisting of CS (Berk.) Sacc. It was parasitized on the larva of some species of insects of the family Hypocreaceae and the dead caterpillar. CS has long been used to improve quality of life and promote longevity. It is now commonly used as a health product, with a wide range of pharmacological effects, such as immune regulation, antitumor, anti-senescence, and hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic actions. Owing to the strict natural conditions, only a minimal amount of natural CS is produced. Fermented CS (Cs-C-Q80), as a substitute for natural CS, is widely used in the field of supplementary medical treatment and health products. Fermented CS is produced by purifying and artificially fermenting the fungus isolated from fresh Qinghai CS. Its pharmacological effects are similar to natural CS.
Since discovering Living Nutrition, I acquired as many of their supplements as I could. And I am delighted with the quality and organic credentials. I take each capsule with much joy and confidence in their beneficial effects.

Lately, I've been diving into the world of organic mushroom supplements and decided to give 'Living Nutrition Organic Fermented Cordyceps
...39; a go. Being a boxer, I'm always up for trying natural methods to enhance my breathing and energy levels, and I've heard quite a bit about the perks of Cordyceps for this. The cool thing about this particular brand is their kefir-kombucha fermentation process, which they say ramps up the nutrient content and packs in a bunch of good stuff like antioxidants and other healthy compounds.
When it comes to price, at around £26 for a month's supply (two capsules daily), it's competitively priced within the market, especially considering its organic and vegan credentials. At the moment, there's also a 10% discount available, making it an even more attractive purchase compared to other brands.
But, if you're like me and fancy trying out all sorts of mushroom supplements - think Reishi, Lion's Mane, Shiitake and the like - the price can start to stack up. You might end up shelling out more than £100 a month. It'd be great if Living Nutrition could whip up something that covers all these bases in one go. A single supplement with a mix of these mushroom extracts would not only save some pennies but also make it super easy for those of us wanting to dive deep into the mushroom world.
As for how the Cordyceps are helping with my breathing, energy, and boxing mojo, it's still early days. I'm giving it a solid month of just this supplement to see what happens and I'll be sure to report back with the lowdown.
Wrapping things up, the Living Nutrition Organic Fermented Cordyceps seems like a good bet, especially if you're after something to help with your breathing and lung health. They've got the quality and price pretty spot on. But hey, it'd be awesome to see them mix it up with a product that brings together different types of mushroom extracts. That'd be super handy. And I'm really looking forward to seeing if their kefir-kombucha fermentation trick makes a real difference. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know how it goes!

I've been into both medicinal fungi and fermented foods for many years, but I've not previously encountered fermented Cordyceps. The idea im
...mediately appeals, as the health benefits of Cordyceps are well-established, and the process of fermentation can make its compounds of interest even more easily absorbed (bioavailable).
To be clear, fungi themselves can be fermenting agents, such as in the case of koji (rice fermented with Aspergillus oryzea), but those fungi are typically more microbial in growth habit than the more familiar "medicinal mushrooms" like Cordyceps. These macroscopic fungi also "ferment" their substrates in the technical sense that they perform external enzymatic catabolism, but because the substrate is not included in the final product, no one would call these products "fermented". I'm writing this because a friend was also confused about the distinction and connection between fungal supplements and fermentation supplements and I thought I would offer my somewhat technical explanation.
With these pills, Cordyceps tissue has been subjected to fermentation by kefir and kombucha cultures, which are a very complex mix of beneficial bacteria and fungi (principally yeasts). So you are getting all the good stuff in Cordyceps, kefir and kombucha in a super potentiated and synergized combo, condensed down into easily-consumed pill form. That's a win-win-win-win.
I also think this is a great brand to be buying your supplements from. They have a focus on fermentation products specifically, and having researched them a fair bit, I feel completely confident in their careful sourcing of ingredients, formulation and manufacturing standards. I look forward to exploring more of their range.
