This is a very good ginseng product. If you do not know what are the benefits of Red Ginseng, then do some research. It certainly helps me and I find
...this product to be very effective. I take it in the morning. My complaints are, that it does not state how old this ginseng is and you have to take 2 tablets to get a 600mg standard dose. This makes its product very expensive. If it was guaranteed to be 6-year-old Korean red ginseng, then the price is good. Nowhere does it state the age. So it is an effective product but it does not give great value.

Ginseng has been famous in Asian countries for a long history. I have been consuming Ginseng, and I can see it's a quality product and better, it
...'s organic, even better, made in UK.
Every 2 capsules provide Kefir-Kombucha Fermented Organic Red Ginseng 600 mg, so it's a month supply. For me, 1 in the morning every day, so far so good.
Not cheap though.

Red ginseng is an ancient therapeutical plant that is prized in East Asia and very expensive. The best red ginseng from Korea is usually fermented to
...make it more bioavailable. It is used as a tonic, immune system and energy booster and a cup of red ginseng tea is considered a very healthy daily drink.
But it tastes awful and bitter so having this in capsule form is very handy. This particular product is organic and solvent free. It is fermented which makes it easier to absorb. It's also freeze-dried preserving more of the valuable nutrients. Also, no fillers or additives which is great.
It recommends 2 capsules per day, which means this is meant to be a one month supply.
I am removing one star because it does not state whether this is whole plant or root, age of plant, or amount of ginenosides and other active ingredients. All of these affect potency. Without knowing this, I will take one a day to see any effect and then up to 2 if needed.

My wife takes our health very seriously and doles out supplements to us each morning without fail!
Although many of the benefits of this particular s
...upplement can be found through alternative sources such as kefir yoghurt of fermented vegetables, it is helpful having the ability to source these same things from a single tablet, especially when combined with the benefits of natural ginseng which has been used for centuries in Asia.
To obtain the recommended dosage you have to take two tablets each day (presumably to make the tablets small enough to swallow easily), therefore one bottle contains one months supply for one person. The tablets taste no worse than other supplements, and the fact that they are organic and natural is a big plus.
The benefits of taking supplements such as this aren't immediately obvious as it takes time to build up the effects on your system, but the effects of ginseng are well proven so I have no reason to expect that these tablets won't be effective, whilst also being healthier to take than lab created equivalents.
I do feel that the manufacturers are playing on people's health concerns with the price they are charging, and for that reason I have only awarded 4 stars instead of 5.

I was born and raised in a European country that has a long tradition of pickling and fermenting almost everything, from fruits to cabbage and caulifl
...ower. Nevertheless, it is an intricate process, one that I have never come across in any other country. Fermentation supports immunity and the gut to the highest degree.
GINSENG IS ONE OF THE MOST COMMONLY USED traditional medicines in many Asian countries. Ginseng has a long history of cultivation. It is typically harvested after 3'“6 years of growth and then undergoes extensive cleaning and air drying (white ginseng [WG]) or steaming at 98°C'“100°C for 2'“3'‰h (red ginseng [RG]). It has been reported that RG has more potent pharmacological activities than WG. Ginseng saponins, referred to as ginsenosides, are believed to play important roles in pharmacological action.
The pharmacological actions of ginsenosides have been suggested to be dependent upon biotransformation by human intestinal bacteria.
Ginseng is typically administered orally, after which the ingredients are exposed to gastric juices or liver enzymes and digestive and bacterial enzymes. To improve the oral absorption and bioavailability of these compounds, many different strategies have been used.
Fermented red ginseng (FRG) has dramatically improved bioavailability compared to RG, as indicated by skin permeation, intestinal permeability, and ginsenoside levels in the blood.
Several investigators have reported new ginsenosides in RG that are not usually found in WG. Ginsenosides can induce antioxidant enzymes, which are important for maintaining cell viability. Many previous studies have reported that P. ginseng has anti-wrinkle effects, protects against ultraviolet radiation-induced skin ageing, and has anti-melanogenesis effects. Furthermore, it was reported that ginseng has immunostimulating activity.
Since discovering Living Nutrition, I acquired as many of their supplements as I could. And I am delighted with the quality and organic credentials. I take each capsule with much joy and confidence in their beneficial effects.
