What is The Nue Co. Topical- C for?

Vitamin C is a powerful compound which helps to stimulate collagen production, evens pigmentation and acts as an antioxidant to neutralise damaging unstable molecules.

The Nue Co. TOPICAL-C uses powdered l-ascorbic acid (the purest form of vitamin C) which doesn’t activate until you mix it with moisturiser, keeping its potency. Boosted by ferulic acid (a restorative antioxidant found in the cell walls of plants) and a calming trio of tapioca starch, oatmeal, and aloe vera, this topical vitamin C supplement helps promote skin health.

It is suitable for all genders, all age groups and all skin types, from sensitive to breakout-prone, oily to dry!

Key Benefits of The Nue Co. Topical- C:

Remains stable and potent:

Vitamin C can be a very volatile ingredient (unstable when exposed to air or water), which means it can lose its skin-improving benefits before it’s even made it to your face. Unlike traditional vitamin C serums, creams, and oils (which can degrade quickly), The Nue Co. powdered TOPICAL-C doesn’t activate until you mix it with your chosen cream or serum. Keeping its powerful potency.

Fights free radicals:

Our skin is exposed to daily aggressors that accelerate the ageing process, with 80% of visible ageing caused by UV rays alone (which is why wearing an SPF is so important). The sun’s ultraviolet rays trigger the release of cell-DNA-damaging free radicals, which rapidly degrade the collagen and elastin fibres that act as scaffolding for firm skin. Vitamin C is an antioxidant, meaning it neutralises these unstable molecules.

Fades fine lines:

Fine lines and wrinkles occur when the skin’s connective tissue (collagen and elastin fibers) are broken down, and the subsequent loss of volume causes the skin to contract and wrinkle. The hero ingredient in TOPICAL-C is boosted by a second antioxidant: ferulic acid, which increases its stability and doubles the natural photoprotection of the skin. Protecting your collagen reserves and boosting new collagen production is an essential step in your skincare routine to achieve plump, youthful-looking skin.
