What is Horsetail Herb?
Horsetail herb (Equisetum arvense) is the only living genus in Equisetaceae, a family of ferns. Traditionally, horsetail has been used as a herbal remedy that dates back to ancient Roman and Greek times. Horsetail extract works as a diuretic and curbs inflammation within the soft tissues in the body. Horsetail herb is a rich source of silica which is known for its multi-faceted benefits to the body.
