I normally take the higher dose Vitamin C during the winter to help boost my immune system and prevent seasonal colds, and it works very well. However
..., during the summer you need a lower dose, so these 500 mg capsules are ideal. The capsules come well protected in a brown glass bottle. They are fairly easy to swallow with water, and you get 100 capsules in the jar. These are good quality vitamins which are free from gluten, wheat, dairy, soya, yeast, preservatives, sweeteners, artificial flavours or colours. Therefore they are suitable for vegans. They are also free from sugar, salt and starch. A very good quality Vitamin C supplement.

I decided to buy this product because I wanted a Strong, High Quality Vitamin C Product. Solgar have a very good reputation and I had success with a number of different products that I purchased from them before. This product is a 'Normal Release' Vitamin C.
Since I have been taking these tablets Immediately after each gym session and on the first sign of an illness symptom such as sore throat or cold, I have not suffered from any illness. I took them during the 'Flu Season' which is October to April. You are far more likely to fall ill in that time. They have been very effective and my partner also takes them and has not been ill since being on them, despite nearly all her other work colleagues falling ill with flu in December.
