CeraVe Foaming Cleanser is a purifying, yet gentle cleanser that controls excess sebum whilst removing dirt, oil, pollution and make-up without stripping the skin. After use, this cleanser leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed. Developed with Dermatologists, this cleanser is formulated for sensitive skin that is normal to oily and prone to discomfort and imperfections.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): Helps to regulat eexcess sebum production, whilst soothing and calming the skin with it's anti-inflammatory benefit. The perfect ingredient for oily skin.
CeraVe's 3 Essential Ceramides (enriched with ceramides 1, 3 and 6-II): Helps to restore the skin's lipids (oils) and protect the skin's natural barrier. A healthy skin barrier prevents dryness and other signs of irritation and sensitivity.

Why Are Ceramides Important?

Ceramides are lipids (oils) which make up 50% of our skin, meaning they play an essential role in having healthy skin! Sometimes our ceramide levels can be low due a range of factors such as pollution, skin conditions like eczema, diet and more. When these levels are low or damaged, our skin's barrier will appear irritated; itchy, dry, and uncomfortable.

There is no fragrance (which is good, in my opinion), and the product feels very gentle. I use this with a Konjac sponge for extra deep cleansing. On it's own, I would say this is a mild cleanser, and if you are after the deep, tingly cleanse you get with some "oily skin" products, this will disappoint. However, my skin is very sensitive, and I've experienced no redness or irritation in the few days I've used it so far.
